Meet Mikayla Verberne, one of the visionary founders of V&T Insurance. Mikayla’s roots run deep in the Watford/Alvinston area, where she grew up as a proud farm girl and continues to call home. Alongside her husband, Chad, and their four lively children, she actively participates in the community. Whether it’s cheering for her kids at the arena or coaching their sports teams, Mikayla is deeply engaged in local activities.
Mikayla’s journey into the insurance industry is a testament to her adaptability and determination. While Mikayla has been in the insurance industry since 2008, her association with Lambton Mutual commenced in 2010 during the IBS conversion, initially working in Underwriting before transitioning to Loss Prevention and then the Claims department.
Recognizing the importance of ongoing education, Mikayla has obtained her CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) and CRM (Canadian Risk Management) designations and is currently pursuing her ACIP (Advanced Chartered Insurance Professional) designation. Her enthusiasm for education mirrors her unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional insurance services and impeccable customer service to clients in the surrounding communities. As a proud owner of V&T Insurance, she is dedicated to the vision of treating clients like good neighbours, exemplifying a strong commitment to the local community through community-focused and involved practices.
Jennifer Timmermans CIP

Meet Jennifer Timmermans, one of the visionary founders of V&T Insurance. She has spent her entire life in North Middlesex, currently residing near the Lambton County border with her husband, Darryl, and their two boys outside of Parkhill. In addition to cherishing family time, Jennifer is a devoted community volunteer. Since 2012, she has served on the TVCC board and actively contributes to the Client Advisory and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committees. Jennifer’s commitment extends to her role as an Owner Representative on the Lambton Kent Middlesex East committee for Libro Credit Union, highlighting her dedication to community engagement in the area she calls home.
Jennifer’s journey in the insurance industry is deeply rooted in her family’s legacy. With her mother and father-in-law both possessing extensive experience in rural insurance communities, Jennifer is following in their footsteps. She ventured into the insurance world back in 2015 and has been a part of the Ontario Mutuals since 2016. Now, she’s seizing the opportunity to forge her path alongside partner Mikayla by establishing V&T Insurance.

She maintains a proactive approach to staying updated with industry advancements and insights by participating in webinars from organizations such as OMIA, Lambton Mutual, and the Insurance Institute. With over 22 years of combined knowledge in the insurance industry, we are excited to offer insurance solutions to clients in the Sarnia-Lambton and Middlesex counties. Bonnie has lived in the Watford/Warwick community her entire life. Her greatest joys are her two daughters, Andrea and Emma, with whom she enjoys spending time with. In 2004, she embarked on her insurance journey at Bebingh Insurance, where she swiftly rose to the role of Agent. Bonnie takes immense pride in providing exceptional, personalized service, whether it’s warmly welcoming customers by name at the office or offering expert assistance over the phone. She is committed to extending that same personal touch to the valued insured clients of V&T Insurance Inc.
Bonnie’s community spirit extends beyond her professional life; she is an active member of the Watford Legion Branch 172 and passionately volunteers, including serving as the co-chair of the Poppy Campaign. When she’s not busy with her community and work, Bonnie finds solace in the company of her dogs, indulging in the great outdoors, immersing herself in books, and going on leisurely walks.
Mary Jane Heater

Mary Jane grew up in the Watford community, and still calls it home. She shares her life with her husband, Ian, and their two children, Darryl and Nikki, who have settled in Sarnia. Mary Jane’s journey in the insurance industry began in 1992 when she joined her father’s team at Bebingh Insurance. She continued her dedicated service when her brother, Rick, assumed ownership in 1999. Now, with 32 years of valuable experience in office administration within the insurance sector, Mary Jane is excited to contribute her expertise to V&T Insurance Inc.
Outside of her professional life, Mary Jane has a passion for travel and enjoys exploring new destinations. She finds tranquillity in leisurely walks and embracing the outdoors. Her love for family is evident in the time she spends with her children and her cherished dog, Aspyn.
